About PORTSMOUTH ABUSE AND RAPE COUNSELLING SERVICE

Portsmouth Abuse and Rape Counselling Service (PARCS) provides counselling and support for anyone living in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire who has experienced rape, childhood sexual abuse or other form of sexual violation any time in their lives. PARCS also offers specialist counselling for all genders who have experienced, domestic abuse. PARCS is trauma informed service which aims to address sexual violence and domestic abuse in our community and across the UK by facilitating awareness through our training, supervision and consultancy to community groups and services. We aim to create disruption to narratives that uphold abuse through community projects, and our counselling service enables healing and empowerment through therapeutic support to survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse across Portsmouth and Southeast Hampshire.
