Academy Home Care is a domiciliary care agency providing a professionally run service, taking into account people’s personal choices, needs and wishes. We deliver all aspects of personal care to the elderly and disabled, 18 years and over. Our staff are all fully trained in 21 areas of the Health and Social Care Sector and all have DBS enhanced clearance. We are registered with the CQC. The Managing Director started Academy back in 2005 after working in domiciliary care for many years. Her aim was and still is to provide a very high standard of care to all those that require care support within their own homes. The Manager worked in domiciliary care too as a carer for over 12 years before taking the Manager’s role at Academy in 2006. Academy remains a local, relatively small agency, which allows us to have that extra personal touch. We take pride in the fact that the feedback we receive supports our aim to maintain a high care standard delivery consistently. We genuinely care and strive for the best outcomes for our Service Users and to ensure we continue to do so, we do regular quality assurance audits.
