YOUNG & INSPIRED

Young & Inspired is a grassroots organisation dedicated to empowering young families facing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and struggling with poor mental health. They break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, relationship breakdowns, and mental health crises. They create safe spaces, address food insecurity, foster connections, support financial well-being, and enhance employability and a stronger family unit. Young & Inspired advocates for children and families facing poverty or adverse childhood circumstances and provides wraparound support throughout their childhood and as they transition into independent adults. Programs Include: Conquer The Kitchen program, empowering very young mothers to cook wholesome food economically, Flying Colours Arts, Sunshine Breakfast Club, Water Sports, Holiday Club. Young & Inspired advocates for over 400 children, young people and families; inhibited by inter-generational poverty and its subsequent challenges; living in inner city Hackney and neighbouring boroughs. Their vision is to empower multiply disadvantaged children and young people to beat financial, social and academic barriers so that they can have a great childhood and a healthy transition into adulthood.
