Founded by Pete Moss in the 1990s, Pete was a pioneer in the reclaimed oak flooring industry, importing exquisite oak from France. In 2012, Pete passed away. Under Ben Moss’s guidance, Wood Be Beautiful not only continued but flourished, evolving from salvaging reclaimed oak to manufacturing Bocage Oak. In 2018, Ben went missing. Now, Dan Moss leads Wood Be Beautiful Ltd, staying true to the visions of his father and brother. They produce Bocage Oak, and expanded to include Norman & Heritage Oak. These products are part of the Rootline Certified range, representing commitment to quality, sustainability, and authenticity. They offer premium solid French oak flooring crafted on-site from locally sourced wild oak. The company aims to bring the timeless elegance of solid French oak flooring to eco-conscious homeowners and designers, ensuring every plank’s journey is transparent, sustainable, and deeply personal.
