UPPER BALLAIRD FARM COOP LTD

Upper Ballaird Farm Coop Ltd is a workers cooperative based on Upper Ballaird Farm, a smallholding of 9+ hectares between Balfron and Buchlyvie in Stirlingshire. Founded in December 2022 by Louise Docherty and Philipp Grunewald, the cooperative is a not-for-profit enterprise focused on providing good local food, growing vegetables and flowers and aiming for a fairer food system. They offer a veg CSA model and flower subscriptions. The cooperative is also involved in regenerative farming, prioritising environmental concerns by capturing carbon on site and creating habitat for wildlife. They offer a sliding scale pricing for their veg boxes to improve access to fresh local produce, and collaborate with G63 Hub for solidarity veg boxes.
