Tyneside Standards Limited was formed in 1995 at the behest of several eminent businessmen based in the Tyneside area. They were frustrated at having to send their equipment to the Midlands and beyond for calibration, thus sending money from the North East economy. Tyneside Standards was created to be a “Centre of Excellence” for Metrology, servicing the requirements of Northern Industry. They offer top class calibrations without compromise, obtaining UKAS accreditation within two years of formation. They provide services in Mechanical Dimensional, Electrical, Torque, Pressure, Temperature and Mass calibration, and also offer on-site calibrations. They pride themselves on swift service, high integrity, and tailoring services to client requirements. They have grown through reputation and recommendation, without sales representatives, to keep calibration costs at a minimum.
