TURKISH CYPRIOT WOMEN'S PROJECT

The Turkish Cypriot Women's Project (TCWP) is a charitable organization established in November 1984 to support Turkish Cypriot, Turkish, and Kurdish women and their families. They provide advice, support, and befriending services, addressing needs related to benefits, housing, debt, employment, and health. TCWP aims to empower women through various activities, including classes, training courses, and recreational facilities. The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees and managed through sub-committees. The organization believes in developing and providing services that are essential for women and their families, providing a multitude of activities to further develop their skills and knowledge. TCWP also promotes awareness of the needs of Turkish speaking women amongst statutory/voluntary sector service providers. Any Turkish-speaking woman can become a member of TCWP.
