Tin Trousers was founded in 2005 after the owner married into the Royal Navy. Originally known as Erin Military Tailoring, the business provided striping and alterations to uniforms. As the family grew, the business moved to HMS Nelson Wardroom and eventually to TTHQ, Gosport. Tin Trousers has since expanded to include a team of experienced tailors who use traditional methods and materials to provide high-quality uniforms for the Armed and Uniformed Services. Tin Trousers is a military tailors based in TTHQ Gosport and working within bases in the Portsmouth Area. We work with all UK uniformed services and specialise in Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA). Our services include award winning tailoring service using the highest quality, traditional materials, methods and workmanship.
