Tin On A Wall North Tyneside CIC is a volunteer-led Community Interest Company that collects non-perishable food and household essentials every first Saturday of the month (except January) for charities, food banks, and community groups in North Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne. The company was established in July 2020 to tackle food poverty. Registered as a CIC in April 2023, the organization relies on volunteers who leaflet and collect in their streets each month, supporting a core group of 6 charities and community groups. The company’s mission is to tackle food poverty in a targeted way within North Tyneside and Newcastle upon Tyne.
