Through the Woods Well-Being Service CIC is a not-for-profit group private practice. They specialize in supporting individuals in the community facing challenges with their mental health. Their mission is to offer compassionate and personalized mental health support, creating a safe space for individuals to explore their feelings, heal from challenges, and build resilience. They address general mental health issues, with a special interest in supporting individuals dealing with chronic pain. They offer counselling for various challenges including loss of identity, chronic pain, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, confidence issues, relationship issues, trauma and domestic violence. They also offer couples counselling and an empathy driven approach to understanding the daily challenges of those who suffer with chronic pain. Counsellors are members of the BACP, are DBS checked and have valid insurance. They work from a Person-Centred approach, sometimes they use an integrated approach to suit individual needs.
