THE WOOD FIRED FOOD CO. LTD

The Wood Fired Food Co. is a family run business, producing wood fired sourdough pizzas. Their dough contains only 3 ingredients – organic flour, water and Sicilian sea salt from Trapani. They use the age-old technique of raising the dough using a sourdough culture, rather than commercial yeast. Their flour is British and Organic and comes from Shipton Mill. For the tomato base, they use Organic San Marzano tomatoes, grown in Italy. They only use Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Olio Aurelia. They source their toppings locally in Norfolk. Their Chorizo comes from MarshPig. Their wood is sustainable and sourced from The Royal Sandringham estate. They burn only hardwood including Oak, Ash, Birch and on occasion fruit wood, imparting a beautiful smoky flavour to the pizzas.
