THE INSTITUTE OF FIRE SAFETY MANAGERS

The Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) is a professional body dedicated to advancing fire safety at local, national, and international levels. As a non-profit organisation, their focus is solely on the improvement of fire safety rather than financial gain. Their core mission is: “To raise the awareness of fire safety at a local, national and international level, promoting fire prevention, fire protection, and reducing the risk from fire as far as reasonably practicable.” They offer membership and resources, including accredited training courses and events, and host a tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register. The IFSM welcomes entry at all levels and actively encourages and promotes knowledge advancement and membership progress. They have over 1600 members worldwide.
