Sweet Cherry Publishing is an award-winning independent children's book publisher based in Leicester. Founded in 2011, it aims to make reading fun for ages 0-14 and believes that all children should have access to great stories. The company publishes books in sets and series to keep children engaged while providing value, and strives to break down cultural and socioeconomic barriers to reading by focusing on affordability and accessibility. Sweet Cherry Publishing won Small Press of the Year at the Nibbies (2021) and Children’s Publisher of the Year at the Independent Publishing Awards (2022). It has launched the Every Cherry initiative, which focuses on bringing high-quality and accessible reading material to members of the SEND community, with ranges including Easier, Symbolised and Stories for Your Senses.
