STURMINSTER NEWTON AMATEUR BOXING CLUB COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

STURMINSTER NEWTON AMATEUR BOXING CLUB COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY is a self-funding organization run by dedicated volunteers with the aim of promoting fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect and confidence increasing the quality of life for local children and adults. The club was set up in 2001 by Shaun Weeks, and endeavours through the Olympic sport of amateur boxing to promote fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play, respect and confidence, increasing quality of life by providing a constructive alternative to anti-social behaviour such as drug and alcohol abuse for the local youth living in Dorset. The club also provides positive role models and social inclusion through interaction with our coaching staff and other young boxers. The club has produced numerous champions and has a dedicated business unit split over two floors. The club relies purely on grants and donations from the public.
