Neil is a very experienced and well known figure in the Northern business community, he invests in a range of different stage businesses and holds various board positions. He is best known as the former CEO of ONYX GROUP, where he managed the growth and development of this very fast growing business focused internet and technology solutions company. Exploiting key strategic assets including large data centres (onyx.net), as well as executing a number of step change acquisitions to grow the business from less than 1m turnover to 30m. Neil exited the business in June 2016 when Onyx was acquired in a deal reported to be worth 65m.Now he's actively investing in the tech sector supporting scale up businesses reach the next stage of their development. He's consulting with businesses that need Sales and Marketing support and delivering personalised training to people new to this area.
