STEP BY STEP SCHOOL LIMITED

Step by Step School is a small independent day school for pupils with autism. It provides specialized teaching for Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form pupils, aged 4 to 19, who have an autistic diagnosis. The school was founded in 2004 by a group of parents to provide a highly specialized approach to meet each pupil’s individual and autism specific needs within the social setting of a school. The school focuses on five key learning areas and offers individualised programs for each pupil throughout the school day based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and supported by Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Total communication approach, Attention Autism, and a range of Augmentative Communication (AAC) methods. The school's mission is to maximize the potential of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) through evidence based, individually tailored, outstanding teaching to thrive and live happy, confident lives.
