Bought to you from the same team behind The Pond and Easy Tiger @ The Hampton, Star & Garter is a modern, moody yet fun, Victorian pub in eye shot of the sea. Welcome to all and the place that wants you to enjoy your time with us in the city we love! Pints, pies and fries with the sea in your eyes! Built in 1750, this Kings Road boozer has a wealth of history in and around its prime seafront location. Formerly Star & Garter Hotel it boasted famous guests such as Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin and King Edward VIII and is rumoured to have blocked up secret tunnels running to town hall and even the odd friendly ghost. The Star & Garter offers great beers and naughty Detroit style pizza from local heroes Cutie Pies and hosts regular live music & DJs. They also host birthday, engagement, wedding, Christmas, NYE and corporate bookings up to 80 people.
