SOCIAL ARTS FOR EDUCATION

Social Arts for Education is a study centre for children who have been withdrawn from mainstream school due to bullying and associated reasons. The school provides specialised education for children who have been bullied, struggling with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Teaching is based on the SPELL framework constructed by the National Autistic Society. After a trial period, children can attend part-time and choose which subjects they would like to learn. The school has a calm and purposeful atmosphere throughout the day. Staff understand pupils' social and emotional needs exceptionally well. From September 2024, Ofsted no longer makes an overall effectiveness judgement in inspections of state-funded schools. The school is an independent school registered with the Charity Commission and is Ofsted registered.
