SCHOOL JOURNEY ASSOCIATION(THE)

The School Journey Association (SJA) is a UK-based educational charity established in 1911, providing inspiring educational tours designed to bring subjects to life, extend pupils’ learning, and develop their appreciation of local and international cultures. SJA offers residential and day trips, specializing in tailor-made, curriculum-based trips. They provide financial assistance to children from disadvantaged families and are members of the School Travel Forum and ABTA and ATOL members. SJA is run by teachers and head teachers and offers great value for money. The organization also arranges school journeys of an educational character in the UK and overseas and awards grants or subsidies to pupils who are in need of financial assistance to enable them to take part in such journeys.
