SAILORTOWN REGENERATION GROUP

Sailortown Regeneration works towards reinvigorating the Docks area of Belfast in a people led drive to recreate a thriving community for all. Sailortown Regeneration owns St. Joseph’s Church and Parochial House, situated in Belfast Docks. They are opening St Joseph’s as part of a people-led regeneration of the area to be used by current and past residents of the Sailortown area, and will provide a welcoming space for visitors and all those interested in our local culture and heritage. The Sailortown area is currently affected by problems relating to a lack of suitable infrastructure for its residents, many of whom are in social housing. The association seeks to benefit those who are resident in the Sailortown area and its environs of Belfast and other persons with strong family connections with Sailortown, including former residents and their families.
