Slaughtering is by Haji Mohammed Afzal (Barking Mosque) with Zibah methods in compliance with FSA (Food Standards Agency) and EU slaughtering regulations. Meat sold at Romford Halal Meats is sourced from the British Isles, also locally sourced livestock from Essex, Kent and the Home counties with full traceability. Certified by Halal Consultations for the slaughter of sheep, lamb and goat. FSA Approval for the slaughter of domestic bovine, water buffalo, sheep and goats. Licenced for the removal of bovine vertebral column from OTM cattle. Licenced to remove spinal cord of older sheep and goats. Approved for the dressing of farmed deer.
