Renewable Power Systems was established 25 years ago with the objective of promoting landfill gas fuelled power generation schemes. Renewable Power Systems has now successfully implemented over 70 MW of landfill gas generation with projects ranging from 50kW to 6MW and currently manages 15 MW of power generation across 14 sites throughout the UK. Renewable Power Systems has a unique position in the UK as an independent service provider for landfill gas control and utilisation. Renewable Power Systems are also involved in the wind power and biomass sectors and offers a wide range of Project Development expertise covering the majority of the renewable technologies. They offer Generation facility design, procurement, project management, commissioning and operation, Grid connection applications and delivery, Project planning consent and Environmental impact assessments. They also maintain a detailed knowledge of the UK power sales markets and incentive schemes, including the Renewables Order, Feed in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive.
