Power Cable Services Limited (Power CSL) is a leading specialist engineering company providing subsea power cable and umbilical jointing products and services to the global offshore renewable energy and oil & gas industry sectors. For offshore installation or repair of subsea power cables and umbilicals Power CSL offers a range of accessories including repair joints, field splice kits, pulling heads, hang-offs and topside transition joints for medium, high and extra high voltage applications. The Company offers its well proven and highly reliable factory jointing (splicing) service to medium and high voltage subsea cable and umbilical manufacturers. The splicing process has applications during long length cable production, and in the repair of power cables or umbilicals which have been damaged during manufacture. For cable manufacturers who carry out factory jointing in-house Power CSL offers the supply of jointing tapes manufactured using specialist extrusion equipment housed in a dedicated ISO Class 6 clean room. Power CSL offshore products are supplied in kit form for installation by third party offshore certified technicians. To this end a product familiarisation service can be provided upon request.
