Plus One is a small but experienced and knowledgeable company which consists of four homes. We provide residential child care for young people with emotional difficulties, offering emergency and planned placements. The organization has developed from its original status as a foster care provision and benefits from twenty-eight years of experience within this specialist field of residential care. We encourage young people to be involved in house decisions and support them to participate in a range of pursuits to promote autonomy & independence. Each home is run with normality being the key factor i.e. to operate as close to family life as possible. We encourage visits between our young people and their family members.
