The Open College of the Arts (OCA) is a UK-based distance learning university college offering open foundations and degree courses in the arts. Founded in 1987, OCA is a not-for-profit educational charity committed to widening access to art education. OCA is part of The Open University since August 2023. OCA offers part-time courses in painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, and has an award-winning online MA Fine Art course. OCA offers study at times to suit the student and has a global community. OCA is excited to launch a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Film and Media Production (September 2025).
