NVR PRACTITIONERS CONSORTIUM CIC

NVR Practitioners Consortium is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that provides training and support in the Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) approach to parenting. They teach parents/carers and practitioners to implement non violent resistance, an effective parenting approach for families dealing with behaviours of concern. The Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) Parenting approach has helped thousands of families to change their lives. Parents and carers report increased confidence in their parenting, a greater sense of agency, improved relationships within the family and a reduction in behaviours of concern. NVR can be used with children from around 5 years old, up to, and including, adulthood. It also has proved effective with neuro-atypical children and young people and with all kinds of family make-up, including foster and adoptive families.
