It focuses on young & emerging creatives, co-creating opportunities and events to nurture literary careers. It runs various projects to give communities, with a focus on young people and emerging writers, ways to find their voice and build their careers. The city has a vibrant contemporary writing scene and a globally renowned literary heritage. As a UNESCO City of Literature, its mission is to build a better world with words.
