Northern & Shell also added Channel 5 to its media portfolio and launched The Health Lottery in October 2011. In 2014, Northern & Shell Ventures was established as a venture capital arm. After selling its print publications and Channel 5, Northern & Shell transitioned from the media business to focus on property development and other ventures.
