NORTHERN was founded in 2023 by Padraic Gorman following 12 years of experience at award-winning architecture practices, as well as private work across Manchester and the surrounding area. Padraic studied at Central Saint Martins, London and the University of Manchester, before becoming chartered. The studio has a strong design focus. The buildings and spaces that we create respond to their physical context and deliver value to every client. Each design is underpinned by research, technical knowledge, and continued collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors. Together, we create beautiful places and spaces.
