Network 81 is a national network/charity that supports, advises and trains parents and carers about the education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The Network's range of services includes: a national Helpline offering advice on all matters relating to special educational needs; befrienders who support parents at meetings; a termly newsletter; publications; befriender training courses; conferences; independent parental supporter training; and advice on administration relating to the 1996 Education Act and Code of Practice. It also offers training courses for parents covering SEN and Disability laws and guidelines and campaigns for properly resourced education.
