Music and the Deaf is a national and international charity based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1988 by deaf musician Dr Paul Whittaker. Music and the Deaf is a unique charity entirely dedicated to providing access and opportunities in music for deaf children and adults. Music and the Deaf aims to enrich the lives of those with hearing loss through the experience of music. The charity offers music workshops, talks, training, and projects. It believes that hearing loss does not limit what people can achieve in life.
