The Trust's mission is to celebrate and share the extraordinary story of British mountaineering and climbing; a story of adventure, endurance, loss, storytelling and others. It is committed to safeguarding the stories, traditions, and legacies woven into these rugged landscapes. The charity's activities include advancing the public benefit of education and training through knowledge and understanding about the history, heritage, skills and safe conduct of climbing, hill walking and mountaineering and the environments in which these activities take place.
