MANAGEMENT CONTROL ASSOCIATION

The Management Control Association (MCA) is a network of researchers interested in the broad area of control in organizations. The ethos of the MCA is to develop critical insights into control processes and encourage research that recognizes the organizational, personal, and social contexts of control. The MCA is a registered charity whose aim is to encourage and sponsor research and scholarship. The MCA is principally engaged in advancing the education of the public on the theory and practice relating to systems of management control in industrial, commercial, public, and other organisations. The MCA organises events each year, including the MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING RESEARCH GROUP (MARG) conference in association with the MANAGEMENT CONTROL ASSOCIATION.
