LOW CARBON CONTRACTS COMPANY LTD

The Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) is a private limited company owned by the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero. Established in 2014, the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) is an independent limited company that is wholly owned by the Secretary of State for Department. LCCC enters into and manages Contracts for Difference (CfD) with low carbon electricity generators. LCCC also runs Capacity Market settlement operations on behalf of our sister company, Electricity Settlements Company (ESC). LCCC enables low-carbon investment at least-cost to the consumer and facilitates private sector investment in secure, low-carbon energy.
