LIVERPOOL COMMUNITY TRANSPORT LIMITED

Liverpool Community Transport is a registered charity set up in 1972 with the aim of providing community groups, schools and community and voluntary organisations around Merseyside with a safe, affordable, reliable and accessible transport provision. L.C.T. is a not for profit organisation committed to provide a "Safe, Affordable, Reliable and Accessible transport and repair service to its City Wide Community Groups". They have a fleet of over 40 vehicles, available for use 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. LCT offers services such as minibus hire, MOT testing, vehicle servicing, minibus safety inspections, and a training room for hire. They are an official member of the Community Transport Association and offer training on P.A.T’s (Passenger Assistant Training), MiDAS training, Safeguarding and First Aid. Since 1999 LCT has held contracts with Liverpool City Council to transport children with special educational needs to and from school.
