LITTLE ACORNS HINDLEY GREEN LTD

Little Acorns is a nursery and pre-school in Hindley Green (WN2), near Wigan, Greater Manchester. It is a large, detached, independent nursery with extensive grounds and facilities, located up a private drive off Smiths Lane (B5273). The setting represents an absolutely outstanding childcare choice for babies (3 months +), toddlers and preschoolers aged up to 5. The nursery opens Monday to Friday each week, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closing only over Christmas, New Year and on public/bank holidays. Children receive an outstanding early years education through a learning and development plan that’s tailored for each individual. Every area of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is covered. The extensive outdoor grounds at Little Acorns really set the nursery apart from other settings. With a remodelling project currently under way, the grounds are set to become even better, with completion scheduled for summer 2025. Children will enjoy a sensory area with scented flowers and their own vegetable growing area. In tandem, a fun physical intervention area allows them to get physically active to hone balance, coordination, and gross motor skills across an exciting range of obstacles.
