LIGHT FROM AFRICA

The Light From Africa Foundation supports various Urban and Rural Outreach Projects in the Western Cape, South Africa which continue to instil hope and positively impact the lives of hundreds of children, care givers and economically marginalised communities. Established in 2004 by Anthony and Carole Record, the foundation supports various children’s homes, particularly the Fikelela Children’s Centre, an orphanage situated in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. The Foundation has launched several projects to light flames of creativity and hope in young lives. The Foundation supports: Care of The Carers, Future Female Leaders, Urban Art Enrichment, Future Male Leaders, Computer Outreach, Girls with Goals, Rural Arts Enrichment, Needlecraft, Community Food Gardens, and Music.
