Jolly Rodgers Day Nursery has 24 years’ experience, including remaining open during the Covid pandemic to support keyworker families from our local community. They offer full and part time day care and funded preschool places within Jolly Pirates Preschool with the option of wrap around care. Caring for children aged from 12 weeks to 12 years. The nursery provides secure outdoor play areas, mud kitchens, and a sensory room. Staff are fully qualified, with Child Protection, Designated Child Protection Officer Training, First Aid, Health + Safety, Infection Control, Basic Food + Hygiene and continuous personal development for all staff throughout the year. Staff are experienced in the use of Makaton to support communication with children. Disability Awareness Training undertaken by staff in this group includes Autism, ADHD and Makaton Training.
