INSTITUTE OF SHEET METAL ENGINEERING

Founded in 1946, The Institute of Sheet Metal Engineering (ISME) is a learned body with individual and corporate membership open to those employed in the sheet metal and associated industries. ISME encourages the development of skills and the skills-base in the sheet metal industry. The institute was founded to promote the sheet metal industry and co-operation between members and provide a body to share knowledge and skills. ISME's main aims include promoting the science and working of sheet metal, providing opportunities for people to exchange ideas and information, and encouraging the development of members. The Institute has individual and company members and is a registered charity run by an elected Council.
