INSTITUTE FOR GOVERNMENT

The Institute for Government (IfG) is a British independent think tank which aims to improve government effectiveness through research and analysis. It was founded in 2008 and works with all the main political parties at Westminster and with senior civil servants in Whitehall. It provides impartial, evidence-based advice, drawing on best practice from around the world, and focuses on improving policy-making and managing the civil service through research, publications, workshops, and seminars. The IfG Academy helps those working in government to improve it and those outside government to understand and engage with it.
