INDEPENDENT AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION

The Independent Ambulance Association (IAA) is the leading trade association representing UK independent ambulance providers, lobbying on behalf of its members and the sector with relevant Government Departments and key stakeholders. The IAA contributes to the work of several Expert Advisory Groups, including those advising NHS England and NHS Improvement, the Care Quality Commission and the Department for Transport. It represents the views of over 50 companies providing ambulance services from over 70 locations. The IAA was formed in January 2012 to represent the interests of independent ambulance providers who are registered with the Care Quality Commission.
