GREAT DUNMOW MALTINGS PRESERVATION TRUST LIMITED

The Great Dunmow Maltings Preservation Trust is a UK registered charity (1057124) that was set up in the 1990s to restore and bring back the historic 16th-century Maltings building. The Maltings building was used as a working maltings until 1948, after which it was allowed to stand empty until the trust was established. The building opened in its current form in 2000, and is now regularly used for lifestyle classes and individual bookings for celebrations and special events. It also houses Dunmow Museum. The charity's activities include the preservation of the Maltings for the benefit of the people of Great Dunmow and the surrounding area, hiring out rooms to raise funds for its maintenance, and various fund-raising activities.
