GLOBAL ALLIANCE FOR LIVESTOCK VETERINARY MEDICINES

GALVmed, formerly the Global Alliance for Livestock Vaccines (GALV), is a not-for-profit livestock health product development and access partnership. GALVmed is working with partners to make livestock health products available, accessible, and affordable to people living in poverty. It is a livestock health product development & adoption partnership organization and a not-for-profit Public-Private Partnership – registered charity, with projects having been funded by the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the European Commission & BBSRC. GALVmed's mission is to make a real difference to the livelihoods of resource-poor livestock keepers by facilitating the provision of animal health tools, within a sustainable economic framework.
