GENERAL AVIATION SAFETY COUNCIL

GASCo is a Charity working to improve safety in all types of General Aviation including flying training, private pleasure flying, helicopters, gliders, hang gliders, paragliders, micro-lighting, balloons, parachutes, gyroplanes and model aircraft. GASCo is funded by the contributions of the 32 member organisations, including the CAA, Met Office, MOD, NATS, as well as pilots and the public. GASCo works to improve safety in all forms of general aviation via: quarterly magazine 'Flight Safety' - newsletters, - physical safety evenings, seminars, webinars, visits & outside events - production of safety material - special investigations - responding to consultations and delivery of Airspace Infringements Awareness courses approved by the CAA.
