GATE BURTON LTD

Gate Burton Energy Park, developed by Low Carbon, is a solar and battery storage project proposed for land near Gate Burton in Lincolnshire. The project aims to generate around 500 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough to power over 160,000 homes and avoid more than 100,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. The project has been granted development consent, with construction anticipated to start no earlier than 2025. Low Carbon is committed to developing renewable energy projects and achieving net zero emissions by 2030. The project will deliver socio-economic and environmental benefits, including jobs and biodiversity net gain.
