Douglas Gascoine opened his first office in Westgate, Southwell in 1954. The business is now run by Emma Gascoine, who is Chief Executive. Gascoines has built and sold a large portion of the houses in Southwell and surrounding district. They have two estate agency offices, providing residential sales and letting services in Southwell, Ravenshead and all surrounding areas. The head office at Southwell coordinates residential lettings and property management for the whole of Nottinghamshire. They offer valuations and expert property advice. They are members of the National Association of Estate Agents, Association of Residential Letting Agents and also members the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
