Future Biogas is a highly experienced developer and operator of AD plants across the UK, responsible for over £120m in biogas infrastructure. They are pioneers of the first unsubsidised biomethane project in the UK - Project Carbon Harvest, which combines anaerobic digestion, regenerative farming, and carbon sequestration to deliver a multi-value, circular economy. They partner with businesses to decarbonise their gas and heat demands, and also with local farmers to grow energy crops as feedstock for their AD plants. Future Biogas is one of the largest anaerobic digestion (AD) plant developers and biogas producers in the UK. They produce over 500GWh of biogas per year, enough energy for over 40,000 homes. They also plan to capture bio-CO2 from biogas for permanent geological storage.
