Freedom Festival Arts Trust is a pioneer organization in Hull's cultural revolution, producing the Freedom Festival, an award-winning international arts festival. The Trust is anchored in the city and influential in the global arts sector, bringing thousands of people to Hull each year to experience world-class performances and exhibitions. They engage and educate the public in the arts, particularly performance, music, drama, poetry, sculpture, painting, handicrafts and other arts and encourage public participation in the arts by presenting creative activities, exhibitions and festivals in Kingston upon Hull and its environs. The organization commissions new work, supports and nurtures creative ideas, and works closely with emerging and established artists internationally, nationally, regionally, and locally.
