FREEDOM COMMUNITY PROJECT

The Freedom Community Project provides support for people within North East Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire. They offer advice and support on a range of issues including benefits, debt, family issues, and employment. The organization also provides support for people struggling with mental issues, including counselling and one-to-one support. They run a number of projects and provide face to face support at their centres located in Bolsover, Clowne, Shirebrook, Renishaw, Staveley, South Normanton, Warsop and surrounding areas, as well as virtual centres across the country. They aim to alleviate financial hardship, uplift lives, inspire positive change, and champion hope. They also provide food through their foodbank and low-cost Food Pantry. They also offer free cafes at various centres and have social events to build self-esteem and break isolation. Their goal is to provide communities with Good Support, Good Housing, Good Training, and Good Employment.
