FOUNDATIONS: SUPPORTING FAMILIES

Foundations: Supporting Families is a small charity based in Chatham which has been offering a range of contact and family time services to families and local authorities since 2012. The building is centrally placed between Chatham High Street and the railway station and is only a few minutes’ walk from the Chatham Waterfront Bus Station. Parking in the vicinity is plentiful. The nearby Victoria Park can be used for community contact. Foundations is based on the top floor of a building which is otherwise used as a nursery and has five themed rooms to be used for contact: The Woods, Safari, The Ocean, Space and The Farm. All rooms are well equipped and clean, with toys and equipment to suit all ages. Parents are also encouraged to bring age-appropriate activities for their children.
